The Weir information I have is Robert Weir b. abt 1750 d. abt 1810, married Janet (maiden name unknown) child: William Weir b. 1781 Broadmeadow, England d. 1871, West Colder, Scotland. William's family: married Agnes Pollock b. 1782 d. 1862 West Calder, Scotland: Children: Robert, b. 1807, Brachead, Scotland d. 1899, Mary b. 1812 d. 1862, Janet b. 1814, Lived in West Calder, Scotland d. 1905 - Note for Janet - "Janet went into service at the age 7 yr. at the farm of the Halfway House. When grown up, to Berkshire to home of Lord and Lady Reay. Brought up at Brachead where parents died.", Agnes, b. 1816, d. 1902, married ? Warnock, Susan b. 1820 Lived in West Calder d. abt 1900. Any connection?This family came to Harvey Twp., Peterborough County, Ontario, Canada!
