John (Jack) Elliott

I am seeking confirmation of details applicable to my Husband's Grandfather, John Elliott (known as Jack). The known details are as follows:

Born: 11th December 1883, Temora NSW Australia.
Mother: Ellen Harriet Elliott

Our information suggests that she (Ellen Harriet Elliott) was born on the 20th of August 1864 in Indigo, Victoria Australia. It is believed that her parents were:

Father: John Elliott
Mother: Mary Drysdale

I believe John (Jack) Elliott was in fact reared by his maternal Grandparents. Furthermore, it is believed that his early life may have been spent in Temora/Albury.

Later in his life, Jack Elliott married Mary Anne Hutchison/Hutchinson in Coonamble NSW Australia on the 19th of October 1916. He was a Butcher and he had two children, Douglas John Elliott and Ella Mary Anne Elliott.

I believe that John Elliott came from England and Mary Drysdale came from Scotland.

I would like to be able to confirm that this assumption is correct and go beyond John and Mary for further family history.
