grandfather. regiment ayr.

could anyone please help . my grandfather was in ayr in 1902 .he was in the barracks. as he was a sergent major in the royal horse artilary .my mother was born in south arbour street.in 1903 in ayr. would like to visit there to find out what it was like. can anyone please help many thankshannah.
