I'm researching information on Maria Louisa (Howard) McEvers b. Mar. 20, 1764 and James McEvers.
They married on Dec. 2, 1779 in Claverack, New York and raised 12 children.
James was a veteran of the American Revolutionary War and I believe was born in Scotland Sept 1, 1755.
I would like more information on where in Scotland James was born and more general information on Maria.
