William Wallace 1734

Hello , Iam looking for information on people before William Wallace b.1734 d.1824 at Horton NS he may have come to Horton early 1772.[childrenJohn ,Margaret ,Michael] purchased land in 1778 at Wolfville/Grand Pre'area from Daniel Wipple who was an original Planter. his arrival in NS predates the United Empire Loyalists. his decendants reported their origins as sometimes Irish and sometimes Scottish perhaps he was from a group we call Irish -Scottish{people having roots in Scotland ,who were in Iriland for one or more generations}Any thoughts on this?
