I am looking for Robert Mount who moved to Michigan prior to 1850, or the group of Mounts that traveled to the USA, on the ship New World in Jan 1850.I am told the family is from Glasgow, but have not been able to confirm that at this point in time.

My branch of the family visited the Scotish Branch of the family in the 1950's, so there should be living relatives there.Robert was born around 1820, or 1830.It is said that they were breeders of royal horses.
