Pittsburgh, south side is where my grandparents Mike (Milo) Ranick b. 1877 and Dorthy (Dragica) Vujnovic b.1882 married and settled.They were both from Gomirje, a serbian village then in Austria but now Croatia.
Mike Ranick had three brothers George, Sam and Nick.Dorthy Vujnovic had two brothers Sam and Dan.
My greatgrandmother Milica Vujnovic b.1862 was widowed and married Mitar Hayden b.1860 in Gomirje.
I do not know Milica Vujnovic's madien name or my greatgrandfather Vujnovic's first name.
My greatgrandfather was Nicholas Mike Ranick, I do not know my greatgrandmother Ranick's first
name or her madien name.They stayed in Gomirje.I do not know what happened to them.
My grandfather may have spelled Ranick, Ranich when he first came to the U.S.
I do not not know anything of my great uncles.
