We know his date of birth and when he came to America from the 1910 AND 1920 census. Cannot find any port of entry records.

We have records that state that 2 of his sons were born in Kingston NY but we have not been able to locate birth or baptism records with one exception. There is a baptism record for one son but it has the name Peter Joseph Farkas. No where else does he call himself Peter so who knows.

We have proof that the mother of his first 4 sons came from Reste (Resica) Slovakia. they were not married. It is an interesting, sad, family secret that I discovered in my research. I was planning a trip to the village this summer but the flood on the Danube caused the trip to be cancelled. Hopefully next year....
