Joannes Pochiba-Suretek

On a search engine suggested to me by fellow researchers, I came across this name:Joannes Pochiba-Suretek.I think it is my grandfather's father, says he lived in Nova Bystrica, Cadca, Slovakia.Can anyone tell me why "Suretek" is attached to the name?
