Re: Frances Kumar birth village Slovenia or Austria

Thank you for your suggestions.I should have included the following information in my original request.
Her marriage certificate from Cook County, Illinois shows no birth village.I have the birth village of her husband, my grandfather, but they met and married in Chicago and I do not believe they come from the same village.
The information I have on Frances's parents (John Kumar b. 1861 and Theresa Steker b. 1868) alternately indicate they were born in Austria, Germany or Hungary.I have been unable to find birth villages for either of them.
I recently found a record at ellisisland.org that might belong to Frances but a link to a copy of the original ship manifest points to a different ship other than the one indicated on her record.I have sent them an inquiry about that.If I can see the original manifest I might be able to determine if that is the correct person.The dates fit:she would have been coming to the U.S. in 1904 and marrying in 1907 which is why she does not show up on any U.S. censuses until after her marriage.I also have been unable to find any naturalization information for her.
Other suggestions?
