The August Erikson who emigrated 30 Apr 1900 did not live in Denmark, he just emigrated from there, and his last known residence was in Norway.

Since August Erikson was missing 1899 and 1900 according to the Bo parish records, he might have been in Norway a short time before emigrating, so it could be his emigration. Or that is a different man, or the last residence information was in error...
