About Theresia Sundblad, b. 1839-06-17 in Arvika city.

Carl Sundblad, b. 1797-09-02 in Gillberga, Värmland
Christina Lovisa Ulfström, b. 1804-11-15 in Uppland

Carl Sundblad is listed as dead in 1845, the death book is missing.
The Sundblads lived at the property #89 at Stora Torget in Arvika, which
for a short period was named Oskarsstad. In 1856 the family moved to
#60 and in 1859 to # 1/2 68, which was owned by "the Wholesaler
Jönsson in New Jork". This is probably Carl Johan Jönsson who
Theresia marries acc. to banns 1859-06-19.
Note of the banns is found in the HFL, the marriage book
is missing for this period.

Theresia is listed for emigration to New York 1864-09-19
together with the sister Amalia Maria, married to the factory book-keeper
Janne Maule from Munkfors in Ransäter parish, Värmland.

I have unfortunately not found any trace of Carl Johan
Jönsson. We are grateful for all information on the emigrants
and their fortunes and descendants.
