William Albert Pfister: b. 1/14/1884, Philadelphia, PA, USA

Am seeking information about ancestors of my grandfather, William Albert Pfister, who was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA, on January 14, 1884, and died there on November 8, 1960.His father was John Pfister, who was born in Switzerland and came to the US when a child, probably to Pennsylvania.John Pfister married Katheryn Bergen (Burgen?; 1867-8), who had come to Philadelphia in 1850 at age two with her parents from Baden, Switzerland. They had six children: Elizabeth (b. 1869), Mary (b. 1873), John (b. 1875; d. 1910), twins Mae and Charlie (b. 1881), and William Albert.

Any information will be gratefully accepted.If you have any tips about searching records in Switzerland, that would also be very welcome.
