Re: marriage certificate

hello janet thanks for your emails,
firstlyi ordered the certificatesfrom southport whith the priority order section and they phoned me today saying
that the number i gave was for the wigan aeria notchorlton
and the number given refered to another name
so i went into the site 1837 and in the 1912 section bill gave me i lookedat the births section oct nov dec instead
vol 8c and page number 1685 and this brought upjohn mayoh
and mothers maiden name connor in chorlton 1912,
now my father now my father was born1914chorlton
vol 8c and page 1710 i cannot belivethat two john mayoh
first 1912 and then 1914 with the same mother connor so i contacted theregistry office and they said it could bethatwith the son and husband being the same namethat the wedding whichi was told took place in 1912 could have been put in thewrong place iebirth insted of marriage
am now waiting while they check it formevery strange but they said it does happen fingers crossed
