My Allen's were also in the same places as your's. My Great-Granddad John J. Allen brought his family from Blountsville Blount County Alabama to Texas, was in the Census of 1910 in Hillsboro Hill County Texas, but in 1900 he was in Bloutsville Blount County Alabama. They also lived in Gadsden Etowah County Alabama. I had an Uncle by the name of John Edward Allen, that's the reason and also the places your Family was from that caught my eye.I will give a few surnames in case they ring a bell.Thurman---Queen---Dutton.
