I have a book about Marshall County. The only mention of Richard Randles is that he was one of the first settlers in the area arriving in 1818.They came down the Tennessee River from Virginia, North Carolina and Tennessee.
Mary Randals married Henry Stephens (1813-1878) in 1835.He was the second son of Willis and Dicy Stephens.Their children:Elizabeth I. (1837- ); married Henry Morris; Mary A (1839- ) married Charles W. Moore; Silus F. (1841 - ) married Mary Elizabeth Whitaker; Hannah J. (1843 - ) m. J. Wiley Craig; Nicholas J. (1844-);Nancy E. (1846 -); Dicy C. (1847-); Martha A. (1849-); Sarah C. (1851 -); Margaret M. (1853 -); married James M. McKinney; Liza E. (1854 -).
The only mention of the surname of Randall(at the time of the writing of this book...year of 2000) is Keith Randall's Greenhouse in the Swearengin Community. This community is located at the northeastern end of Gunter Mountain.
