Thank you for your research.This tells me that James
Burnett may have been born in GA (1870 Greene County MS
census has VA and 1880 Wayne County, MS census has MS).
Also, this tells me to look more in Beat 2, Wayne County,
MS as well as AL where the family stories say they lived.
(They could have moved there in later years but by then
James Burnett must have died.) Doris
