I have hit a brick wall. I am searching for information and descendants of Henry Condry who I believe married one of David Greenwood daughters from Shelby co. Alabama. They had two children, boy and girl. Around 1832 they moved to Poinsett co. Arkansas along with David Greenwood and his family. I can find Henry on 1835 Tax list for St. Francis co. Arkansas, 1839 Tax list for Poinsett co. again on 1840 census with 2 children, no wife. living next door to David Greenwood. Around 1840-41 Henry married Mary Greenwood, they had 4 children, David George, Susan, Elizabeth, Amanda/Ann. On 1850 census list Mary Greenwood married to Thompson Cooper. I have come to the conclusion that Henry did not die, the reason, I have not been able to find any trace of his two children my his first marriage. I believe that Henry and Mary divorced and Henry moved back to Alabama. I know that the Poinsett courthouse was burned down durning the Civil War, information was lost. But its strange that I can find other members of Greenwood family after the War, but nothing on Henry. Anyone that can give me a idea where to find any more information, I will greatly appreciate it.
