Hurricane Farms

I am searching for information on Hurricane Farms (sometimes spelled "Hurrican") which was said to be located in either Jackson or Poinsett Counties.It was perhaps a cooperative group of farms owned by Atlas Dodd.My family, the Preston Paynes, were said to have worked there after they first arrived in Ark. Also a family named Marks and perhaps Samples were employed there.Thank you for anyone having information on this.
