Sarah DeLaney b 1801 ? was my GR-GR-GR grandmother. Her son John Wiley DeLaney b 1819 TN, was possibly the brother of Francis Marion DeLaney b ? TN. I have a note that Francis "probably Dorothy's son" by another source. My descendents are:Sarah b 1801 ? KY; son John Wiley DeLaney b 1891TN; his son John Henan DeLaney b 1861 Vina, CA; daughter (my grandmother) Veva Lurene DeLaney-Lyon b 1888 Vina, CA; my parents-Alta Mamie Lyon b 1912 Arroyo Grande, CA. & Bernard Carl Ryan b 1908 OK. I do not have dates for your Francis but he nay be a descendent of Sarah's. Have you established that?
