A Breckenridge newspaper in 1907 has several entries for Harry Witteborg.It is possible that you can look at them by going online to Colorado's Historic Newspaper collection at gunnison.acklin.org, andthen searching on the name in under the Summit County newspaper.
This project will eventually have the entire collection at the Colorado History Library in a searchable database form.The English papers are well beyond 1900.
There are still technical difficulty with the German Language newspapers, the spanish newspapers are included and have searchable text.
This Harry is the same one we are talking about becasue the spelling of the name is the same (unusual).
He is said to visit his sister Mrs. Sparling in Denver.
And he travels with his brother Herman.
Now for the problems I have run into.The will for William has no mention of Willie.He is perhaps deceases by 1897 and the will completely disenfranchises Herman.
Oh, what a story is beginning to develop
