The only information I have is what my great aunt sent me in an email.It is as follows:

"George (Georg) Conrad Hertlien a 1st generation American.His father Georg Conrad Heartlien (note the different sp) an Evangelical Lutheran Minister and his wife Maria came to this country from Bavaria.They lived first in New York and then moved to Ill.They had 5 daughters and I believe 2 sons.I am named for one of the sisters.She was called Carrie and never married."

My Great Aunt mothers name was Mary Florance Hertlien.I believe she was born in 1905.
