Clemens Matheny married Lucinda Trigg 23 July 1859 in Johnson Co. IL -- so she was not the mother of George.

I did a search for Clem (with variant spellings) on ancestry.com and found that he married Content Chancey, born 30 Aug. 1829 -- in 1847 in Hardin Co. IL.She died in 1855 in Pope Co. IL

I can not find the Matheny family in the 1850 census.
There are some queries online about the family.I use Google.
