Tampico Area Historical Society Website Updates for March 2008

The TAMPICO AREA HISTORICAL SOCIETY is located in Whiteside County, IL. It is the birthplace of President Ronald Reagan, R-Admiral Joseph M. Reeves and hometown to Mrs. Hugh Downs (Ruth Shaheen).

Our organization encompasses parts of Whiteside and Bureau Counties, with special interest in Tampico, Hume Twp., Hahnaman/Deer Grove and Prophetstown in Whiteside county and Thomas & Yorktown in Bureau County. I am available to assist in LOCAL research. We also have a very active MESSAGE BOARD that is monitored daily.
