Cemetery between Rochester and (Buckhart or Mr. Alburn)
I'm now looking for the surname Singer in Sangamon or Christian County, Illinois. There is a small cemetery located on the south side of highway 4 which is probably later called highway 2 in either Sangamon or Christian County, Illinois. I think I saw a gravestone with the surname Singer on it.(This was before I came home and connected the surname Singer to one of the Firey lines.) I don't know what the very very small cemetery is called as it is simply under one or two trees and in a mowed portion of a farmer's field - the very few graves stones are mostly fallen over. The cemetery can be seen and is located next to the highway. I can't remember if the cemetery came before the town of Buckhart or before the town of Mount Alburn. I do know that a town could be seen in the distance toward the East. I think is was probably just a family cemetery. Can anyone identify the Cemetery I'm talking about?
