I am enjoying your responses to several queries on this board! I wonder what you think about this burial at Loyola U. It might not be a burial at all. It seems to me, from looking at what is available online at Family Search, that the original poster of the question is only able to view an index that was created from death certificates. Looking at a Chicago death certificate, the field actually reads "place of burial, cremation or removal." When I see the university given as the answer then I wonder whether Loyola had a medical school at the time. A body unclaimed by family might have been used for research or training of medical students. It may be an unpleasant thought for many of us....but of great benefit to society.
