errant ancestors :)

Am trying to find a 3rd great grandfather who seems to have wandered off from Worth Twp, Mercer Co., PA sometime after 1860 when the census was taken.His wife, Barbara may have been with him---her maiden name was Ghost also from PA, and her father's will mentions her marriage to William Carroll of Illinois.William's father, also William Carroll, fought in the War of 1812 and thus was able to buy some land there(or however that worked!)in Fulton Co.Anyone with any suggestions and/or knowledge of these folks, PLEASE let me know!!!Thanks a million!!!
