Yes, John Reed is the son of Lydia Light Reed Spencer, and step son of Joseph Spencer, so it would be him who was living with Joseph & Lydia in 1850.There are so many named John Reed, that I guess I made the mistake of assuming the 'tree' in Ancestry was correct :o(
