I am not a Dutteroe researcher, just found this very old obituary and thought someone might need it.

OBITUARY
DIED - At his residence in Utica, Ind. on the night of the 24th Nov. in the 63d year of his age, JACOB DUTTEROE, a Revolutionary Soldier. He was a kind neighbour and an affectionate parent, a brave soldier, a stanch republican, and an honest man.He served a tour of three years service in the Revolutionary War, and was found again in the defence of his country at the taking of Fort Niagara, where he was taken by the enemy to Montreal, where he was confined til the peace.
He was interred with the Honors of War, in obedience to his repeated injunctions - which ceremony was conducted by Major Coldren of this place, in a manner which does him honor. The procession was large and orderly conducted by George Ross, esq.The manner in which the request of this (now fallen) veteran was fulfilled, is a convincing proof that the Indianians know how to appreciate patriotism, and that they have tears to shed on the earth that covers the heart in which it glowed, when that heart has ceased to beat for ever.
