That's the cemetery I'm talking about. Somewhere I have notes on the tombstones that were readable, but I think they are in my Frost file. William and Sarah Curry were in Adams Co., OH for at least 10 to fifteen years as he was in the 1820 Census for Adams Co., OH. William was in Harrison Co., KY in the 1810 Census and had married Elizabeth Hamilton in Harrison co., KY in 1800. In the 1804 Tax list for Harrison Co he lives on the same Creek as Joseph Curry. They sold their land in Adams Co. March 1830 and must have started to Hancock sometime early 1830.They are not in the 1830 Census for Adams Co., OH.I have William Curry purchasing land in Hancock Co May 28, 1830.Next time I get to Greenfield I'll have to look into his land deeds.I did look at them this summer but didn't copy anything, but as I recall there was a lot of land transactions between the families.I haven't been able to find Isaiah 1830 Census.Have you found it?Do you have any idea who this John M Curry is that is listed living next to James Curry in the 1840 Census for Hancock Co..John M Curry is listed in the same age group as William and Samuel.
