I am also descended of the Browns of Madison County, but I don't know if my line and your line are related...

So far I have only been able to trace back to Joseph Brown(b.1790, Penn) and wife Nancy (b. 1795, N.C.) who married in Ohio and migrated permanently to Madison County around 1820. They had seven children:Frances, Mary, Zachariah, Joseph, Thomas, Nancy, and my ancestor, Samuel. They were farmers and so were their sons I believe.Their descendants stayed in and around Madison Co for at least the next 100 years...
