Searching for Obit on Asher W Smith

For the better half of 10 yrs now, I have been searching for an obit on my great great grandfather, Asher W Smith b.1832 died Oct 21, 1895 in Noble County, IN. He was married to Susan Lamiller, who remarried a Starmer. I have searched high and low and have not found an obit for him. I am trying to find out information on who his parents were. If anyone has any information I would be most grateful for it.
