Looking for parents of Thomas Carter, born abt 1828 in Indiana (Spencer Co?) Thomas 1st married Eliza Scearcy 1852 Mar 11 in Spencer Co and his 2nd marriage was to Lydia Ebright 1856 Jan 24 also in Spencer Co. I was told his parents were Nelson Carter and Abbie Hessel but have no documentation. I have no info on Nelson Carter other than he was in Luce Twp, Spencer Co for 1830 census.
