By Gianna Barrow March 19, 2010 at 11:48:24

To any and all descendents of Isaiah Bringham and Christina (Christiana Catherine) Lynch Bringham.Isaiah Bringham, veteran of the Mexican War and father to Samuel and Mary, was born 18 February, 1826 in Tippecanoe County, Indiana, and died 4 February, 1855 in Bonaparte, Iowa.Isaiah was a cabinet maker in business with his brother Aaron in Bonaparte, Iowa.Following his death, Isaiah's widow returned to Indiana and married Thomas Wallace listed in the 1860 Federal Census in Indiana with children Samuel Bringham (age 10) and Mary Bringham (age 8) both born in Iowa, along with other children.Isaiah's head stone was never set and found in the basement of a downtown Bonaparte building in 1973.The head stone remained in private hands until now.Upon new research Isaiah's grave has been discovered in the Bentonsport (Iowa) Cemetery and the stone will be set this summer of 2010 by volunteers. If you have more information or request more, please contact me.I thought the descendents would like to know that finally Isaiah will get his stone.
