This was a reply to a message on another board.May help here.
I too descend from Daniel and Elizabeth, through their son William b. 1826 Kentucky. He married Hannah Jane Rudder on 5 Jan 1857 in Lewis, Kentucky. They are on the 1860 census in St. Clair County Illinois. Wm Sexton 36, farmer, born Kentucky. Jane 24, born Kentucky. Samuel 3, born Illinois. ( My GG Grandfather) and William 5/12 b. Illinois. They are back in Kentucky,Lewis County, Poplar Flats for the 1870 census.
William, Hannah J., Samuel T.-12, Joseph D.- 8 born Kentucky, William M.-6, and John D. 4. They must have lost the first son named William and named another son William M.
In the 1880 Census the spelling was horrible!!
They are in Henderson, Lewis Co., Kentucky. Page #12 household #107, Wm Sexteen 56, Jane 44, Samuel 22, John 14.
I have not been able to find William and Jane after this point. But Samuel is in Kansas, Greenwood Co., Janeville in the 1900 census with his wife Susan, b. Dec 1866 Kentucky. Children Flossie J. b. Jan 1892 in Kentucky, son Omer (my great-grandfather)b. Mar 1894 Kentucky, Wilford D. b.Dec 1895 Ken., Baby son Nov. 1899 in Kansas.
Samuel disappeared between 1900 and 1910, because this family is on 1910 Census with new stepfather,
1910 Census, Fall River Township, Greenwood, Kansas.
Household of Thomas A. Lenhart.Wife Susan A., stepchildren Omer H., Wilford E., Harold 10, and a 3 year old son named Raymond Lenhart who was born in Ohio.
I haven't been able to find out what happened to Samuel.
Hope this helps fill in a bit of what you were looking for!
