Mike McCluskie was working for the railroad when he was killed. supposedly before he died he said his name was Arthur Delaney. It is also said he was appointed to the Newton police force before his death. From the book Great Gunfighters of the Kansas Cowtowns by Nyle H. Miller and Joseph W. Snell. vicki Schaefer
