The last Will and Testament of Philip Fulkerson and of the county of Ohio and State of Kentucky. Being well aware of the frailty of Human Nature and knowing that it is appointed once for man to Die and yet being in my right mind do hereby will and Bequeath my real and personal Estate in the following manner that is to say in the first place I will that all my Just Debts should be paid. Secondly I will to my beloved Wife Elizabeth Fulkerson the tract of land on which I now live with all our sigulas that appertenances until my son Jacob Fulkerson shall arrive at the whole of the aforesaid plantation to my son Jacob Fulkerson serving at the same time to my wife Elizabeth here right of dower including the dwelling house and part of the Orchard, Should she be alive at that time and I further will that my wife Elizabeth have all the household and kitchen furniture Except such things as may hereafter be otherwise disposed of also two horses sorrel and Ball and the two mares Juel a bay and a black, five cows and two heffers all my family utensils and all my hogs Except the surplus pork that may be merchantable this insuring Fall and at my wife Elizabeth's death I will all that part of my personal Estate which Ihave bequeathed to her shall be disposed of by my Executors hereafter to be appointed Thirdly I will and bequeath to my son Adam Fulkerson thereby two and one half acres of land where he lives agreed by to a survey made by Joshua Crow Forthly I will and bequeath my son Philip Fulkerson one hundred acres of land to ajoin Fulkard Fulkerson one hundred acres out of a survey made by the aforesaidCrow to ajoinhis brother Philip Fiftly I will and bequeath to my son Fulkard Fulkerson one hundred acresout of the aforesaid crow to adjoin Hisbrother PhilipSixtly I will and bequeath to my son John Fulkerson all the balance of the five hundred acres to meby Daniel L Morrison & except the Eighty six acres lying on the West of Fulkard's one hundred Acres survey and forty acres at the South East corner and I will thatSamuel Robertson have twenty nine acres of the eighty six acres as aforesaidtogetherwith seventy one acres agreeably to a survey laid off by J. Crow Including the plantation on Which he now lives SeventlyI will to Reed McGrew fifty acres of land whereon he now lives, and agreebly to a survey made by J. Crow. Eightly I will and bequeath to the heirs of my Brother Jacob Fulkerson fifty acres of land agreeablyto a a survey made by Brow Ninethly I will and bequeath to my Brother John Fulkerson forty acres to be hold in square at the South East Corner of the tract all of the aforesaid several tracts and parcels of Land are contained in a Da* made by Daniel L. Morrison & for five hundred acres lying on the waters of Green River I futher Will That my son Adam have twenty Eight acres of the eighty six and to be laid adjoining Saml. Robertsons twenty nine acres. Tenthly I will and bequeath to my Daughter Rachel Fulkerson one Feather Bed Bedstead and furniture one cow and Calf and square Table made of Cherry plank and linnen wheel six plates one potone Dutch oven and one set of knives and forks Elevently I will and bequeath to my Daughter Betsey on feather Bed and bedstedand furnitureone cow one calf one linning Wheel six plates one potone Dutch oven and one set of knives and forks Twelvftly I will and Bequeath to my Daughter Permealy Fulkerson one feather bedand bed sted and furnitureone cow and calf one linnery Wheel six plates on pot one Dutch oven and one set of knives and forks And I further Will and Bequeath to my son John Fulkerson one young horse two years old last spring and a young stud horse Three years old last spring which ever the Said John may Choose, I further will that all my lands onthe North West side of the Ohio River held by deed or otherwise and all my land in the State of Kentucky(jourt) a tract on the South Sideof the Toling fork about Twenty eight acres part of the tract conveied by D.L. Morrison on the waters of Green River and at adjoin Fulkard Fulkersons one hundred acres on the West to be sold tigether with any other part of my personal Estate not otherwise disposed of either at private or public sale an a credit as my Executors hereafter to be appointed may think proper and that the proceed thereof be equally divided between all my Children however it is to be understood that in case the articles will and bequeathed to my Daughters Rachel Betsey Permealy should not be on hand when they may want them they are to be proceed out of any sales of my Estate before a dursin thereof Lastly nominate and approve my friends George Smith William Rogers and my son Fulkard Fulkerson Executors of this my last will and Testament to carry the same into effect agreebly to the full intent and meaning thereof In Testimony hereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 21st day of June 1813

Ohio County Sct. August County County court 1813 The last will and testament of Philip Fulkerson deceased was exhibited in open court and provenby the oaths of Samuel Neel and George Coleman where upon George Smith, William Rogers and Fulkard Fulkerson Exceutors named in will having taken the oath required by law and with John Barnes their Security enter into bond in the penalty of $2000 conditional as the law directs a certificate of the probate thereof is granted them indue forms of law C.H. Henderson
