You need to go to the local library, and have them order for you a roll of the 1850 TN soundex code microfilm, for the name of YOUNG.
It will cost about $4 or $5 to 'rent' it for about a three week period, but it will contain EVERYONE in TN, at the time of the 1850 census, that is listed under the name of YOUNG, or any name that might have sounded like YOUNG.
Then by viewing each of the cards that is on the microfilm, you can find all the female children, by the name of Fannie/Fanny/Frances who were born in about 1836.
The film, contains HUNDREDS of picture of cards, of which one was made for each of the households, and contains the basic information for each. The name of the head of the household, and every one who is living in that household. It will give you the name of the county also.
This can be done for ANY of the census years, and is a good thing to remember. It takes about 2 or 3 weeks for the roll of film to come in, but is well worth the wait. The film can only be viewed at the library, but then the average person doesn't have a microfilm reader of their own.
