One other comment: The Kleisers emigrated to Waveland, Indiana, in 1834. This included the mother, Elziabeth McLeod Kleiser and her sons, James Abram KLeiser, Joseph Samuel Kleiser, and Henry George Kleiser. The father, George Kleiser (1789-1823) had died. I don't know when the Brush's emigrated, but they lived in Waveland already, I believe. But, James was friendly with the Brush family even after he and his wife divorced. There are quite a few Brush family members buried in Cloverdale, California, a little town that James Kleiser founded in 1857. There was quite a connection to Kentucky and Indiana in that town. There may even be members of the Brush family still living there, but I am not sure.
