Thanks for all the information, the info i got on John came from another message board I still have not been able to get a hold of the woman who made that post. 1 of the census that I found the 1850 says john H Bennett was born in NC, but then while digging today I found census information on his son Robert D Bennett that says his father was born in MD and VA and KY. So now I am more confused then ever, but still digging, I have contacted Hardin Co about Johns marriage info and they have no record either, I will still be digging, I just get really frustrated with the Bennett side been working on it for about 3 yrs, I have gotten farther then any other family member, when I started all I had was Samuel's name, no parents or siblings or spouse, now I haveHis mother, father, brother, all of his children, his wife and alot of information on her side(Ada Byron Tindall) but still runnning into brick wall on John, I have found no information on a pension ever being filed, and according to the other woman who posted about John she was told Agnes never filed a pension, until I found her message I had only heard stories, the main oen being that John signed up for Civil War and never came back, they didnt know if he had died or just disappeared. I am still fairly new to Genealogy so hopefully I will learn more as I go. Thanks for all information and if you find anything else I would be very interested.
Thanks again
Shelli
