Hi, Liz. thanks for pointing out the 1880 census entry
Wow, those entries are barely readable. It does look like Bolds. Certainly would feel better about if it was more readable
i already saw the 1900,1910, 1920 census records already for Willett/Girten.
I think i even saw the 1870 census for Bolds. (Mahala is a hard name to forget)
Its the 1880 census for Bolds i couldnt put together or rather find. It was the only decade where the 2 sisters would be together in the household.
Maybe I missed because of the readability or the way its indexed (or both).
Ok, so no i am up to 3 surnames lol. Bowles,Boulds and Bolds.
Hoping to locate some documention that would back up whats in the census record that you pointed out. I hope there are baptism records out there for these people.
Its the only record i have seen where the first names, with the exception of the spelling, BOULDS in the index, and dates seem to follow thru.
I will double check it over the weekend.
I would like to be able to get the maiden name of Annie and Maggie's mom as well as link to earlier generations of bolds. I am trying to trace my maternal side as far back as i can, but afraid i may hit another brick wall.
