JAMES HENRY SLEEPER, b. June 20, 1811 (MA?), d. Jan. 5, 1872, (buried in the East Winthrop Cemetery, Winthrop, ME)
Does anyone have any ideas on the parentage of James Henry Sleeper? I have been ‘round and ‘round in circles with Sleeper data. (Family names keep popping me into the wrong family again and again!) James Henry Sleeper was married 3 times. Online records indicate he was born in Massachusetts, but he claimed to have been born in Haverhill, Woburn, Worcester and Danvers, MA, as well as in New Sharon, ME.None of those have panned out.
(Anything will help. Updates on any of the following individuals are welcomed. Marriage lookups, or a death lookup in Maine would help. Any indication of where he was on censuses (local or Federal?) between that birthdate of 1811 and 1830 might help. I'd appreciate any snippet of info!
