If you are in position of a piece of Bay County's history, whether its a
photo, document, or in your memory -- please consider sharing it sharing it
on Bay-Journal. Most recently, we received a contribution from a lady in
Ohio whose had an ancestor from Bangor Township which she was finally able
to find on one of our history pages. She is now sharing portions of a diary
written by Mary (Culver) Hemminger in 1863 while her husband, Isaac, was a
soldier in the Civil War. Because of her contribution, we come a little
closer to understanding the environment of these times and our ancestors.
