I know long name...LOL. I have been looking for this person for a very long time now. She was born on 1 Jan 1818 in Byron, Wurttemberg, Germany and died on 12 Dec 1903 in Ingham Co. MI. She and Adam G.Strayer are both in the Glendale Cemetery, Meridian, Ingham Co. MI (which has two or three other names as well to it!) I have her DC, but cannot figure out the Builhaver's husband part of this. Everyone that is so called related to this person through Adam Gibe Strayer b. 1812 d. 1906 states that they married in 1860 when in fact his second wife had not even died yet! Anna Margaret Smith-Tombaugh-Strayer did not die until 22 Sept 1862 in Meridian, Ingham Co. MI. Well after the birth of their last child in Jan 1860. I can't find a marriage record on Magdalena and Adam G. Strayer, thinking that it is more like 1863 that they married and not 1860. Does anyone know anything about this lady? Seems to me that in 1860 she might have been in NY but that one has me thinking that it might not be her now. The reason I state that is because on her DC it states that her father was William Heaffner/Haffner and so someone either didn't know for sure what he was stating or they got the wrong name down first. By 1870 she is with Adam G. Strayer in Meridian, Ingham Co. MI, 1880 the same, 1900 also the same. So her information on who she married if it is true is what I am looking for, and when she married Adam G. Strayer. Seems to me that it would not have been in OH as Adam G. Strayer came to Michigan in 1855, losing his second wife in 1862. Anyone have any ideas?
