Looking for Lora Day

Lora Day gave birth to my father Carl Day on Aug 3, 1925 in Grand Rapids, Kent, Michigan, On Aug 15, 1925 she signed custody over to Lavina Werft, Superintendant of the Grand Rapids Recieving & Placement Home for Children. Mrs Werft ran a maturnity home out of her house. My research so far only show's it was formed in 1922 by a private Protestant Organization. The court records have Lora's address listed as Roxand Twp, Eaton, Michigan, The maturnity home was located at 1107 Powers St in Grand Rapids, MI (This is a private home now). It is believed he was home born there.
The adoption was finalized in 1926 and name changed to Robert James McFadyen. All records I have found are shown in ancestry.com in the Payne - McFadyen family tree.
Any help in identifying her or information on the maturnity home would be greatly appreciated.
