TeeSha Marie Powelke Obit
ADRIAN — TeeSha Marie Powelke, age 33, of Adrian, Mich., went to be with the Lord on Feb. 7, 2008, after a long, hard battle with cancer and Crohn’s disease.
She was born Jan. 4, 1975, to Ronald and Pamela (Henry) Powelke. TeeSha graduated from Adrian High School in 1993. She was active in orchestra and softball. TeeSha loved NASCAR and most other sports. She loved to go camping and cookout at the farmhouse with all her friends and she loved spending time with her girls and the love of her life “Crispy.”
TeeSha is survived by her parents, Ronald and Pamela; three daughters, Bianca Joy Beckey, Aryanna Danielle Owens and DeLana Rose Owens; one sister, Ann and her fiancee Kevin Roberts; her half-sister, Krystal; and the love of her life, Christopher Owens. She is also survived by her grandparents, Frank and Marilyn Henry, and aunts and uncles, Steven and Marlene Henry, Tim and Cindi Henry, Ken and Paula Clark, Jerry Powelke, and Tom and Linda Powelke. TeeSha is also survived by many cousins and many special friends.
She is preceded in death by one grandmother, Virginia Powelke, and two great-grandmothers, Gladys Emerson Connin and Nina Henry. TeeSha was also preceded in death by her best friend, Wendy Byers.
Funeral services for TeeSha will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2008, at 1 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Adrian, with the Rev. Ken Clark of the Columbiana Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and also Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Adrian.
