CLINTON — Dorothy T. Olpp, 90, of Clinton died at Lenawee Medical Care Facility in Adrian, Mich., Monday, March 24, 2008.

She was born Aug. 28, 1917, in Columbus, Ohio, the daughter of Edwin and Grace (Gray) Tinkham. She was married to Theodore Olpp and he preceded her in death.

Dorothy worked for the Ohio Bell Telephone Company for more than 30 years, retiring in 1980. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers. Dorothy was a volunteer for the Columbus Senior Citizens with recognition as Volunteer of the Year. She enjoyed quilting, card playing, volunteer work, helping others, vacationing in Florida and on Lake Erie, and spending time with her family.

Dorothy is survived by two sons, Edwin (Joyce) Piatt of Clinton, Mich., and Terry (Sue) Piatt of Denver, Colo.; a daughter, Shirley (Michael) Dial of Concord, N.C.; one sister, Alice Tinkham of Columbus, Ohio; seven grandchildren and several great- and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Theodore, two brothers, a sister and one granddaughter.

Funeral services will be held at the Schoedinger-Norris Funeral Home in Grove City, Ohio, at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 29, 2008. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be in Green Lawn Cemetery, Columbus, Ohio.
