I am of no relation, but I have been helped greatly by others who have answered my genforums, so I decided to see what I could find.I hope this helps you.

Through the SSDI I found a Matt Roberts. His last known residence was in Ann Arbor, Washtenaw, MI.His SSN# was 328-14-0296 and it was issued in IL before 1951.It states he was born April 22 1881, and Died in Dec 1966.

I also looked him up on FamilySearch.org. The following is what I found there.

Matthew Alonson or Alanson Roberts
b: 22 Apr 1881 Chateaugay, Franklin, New York
d: 16 Dec 1966

he was married on October 11 1908, but it had the spouse unknown.

His parents were Thomas Smith Roberts and Eunice Lucetta Atwater.

Have a great day and a Merry Christmas.
