KIRK, John P. and wife Mary SCHAFF 1890's

Researching Mary Schaff who married John P. Kirk. I'd like to know if John Schaff was her Dad?Turns out John Kirk was
a very prominent man in the county. I actually found him in the Political Graveyard Site. He was a lawyer, prosecuting
attorney, mayor, ran for Lieutenant Governor, bank President,ect..... Would love to hear more on him. John and Mary had Ruth, Bernard, Helen and Marian. John was born in Ypsi Sept.20, 1866. Any info would be very much appreciated!
