Hi,

Looking for any information on William and Elizabeth Schlegel Stein of Bridgewater, Washtenaw County. They would have been there around 1875 to 1880 as they are listed in the 1880 census for Bridgewater, Washtenaw County. He was born around 1853 in Michigan so the census states. Elizabeth Schlegel was born about the same time but in Germany. The 1880 census states on son Bernhart born 1879. Both parents' parents born in Hesse Germany. There could have been a German community in or near Bridgewater.
